I design frontend architecture that lets large teams ship with confidence: modular React and TypeScript codebases, design systems built on token-based CSS, and accessibility and performance built in from day one.

About

Architecture that scales with the team

Lead frontend engineer with 12+ years in software development and 6+ years designing and scaling React and TypeScript applications in enterprise environments. I specialize in frontend architecture, focusing on the decisions that keep large codebases healthy as they grow: modular architecture, shared component libraries, design-system standards, and token-based CSS.

Much of my work sits between disciplines, turning Figma designs, product requirements, and backend APIs into a frontend plan that US-based design teams, India-based developers, QA, and stakeholders can deliver against, from technical planning through production release.

I treat accessibility (WCAG) and performance, including layout stability (CLS), as architecture concerns rather than polish. I am currently extending my background into AI and machine learning through an Executive Diploma at IIIT Bangalore.

  • Modular by default

Clear module boundaries and micro-frontend patterns where they pay off, so teams can ship independently.

  • One design language

Design systems, central component libraries, and design tokens that keep UI consistent across teams.

  • Accessible from the start

WCAG compliance designed into components and reviews, starting at the Figma stage.

  • Performance as a feature

Lean bundles and layout stability (CLS) tracked as part of frontend quality, not left for later.

Architecture in practice

  • Publicis Sapient

Component architecture for a high-traffic automotive platform

An enterprise automotive website used by hundreds of thousands of users, delivered by distributed design, development, and QA teams across the US and India.

    Approach

    • Reusable component architecture backed by central libraries
    • Design-system standards and token-based CSS shared across teams
    • Modular architecture and code reviews to keep a large codebase maintainable

    Outcome

More consistent UI, stronger maintainability, and more predictable release readiness across teams.

  • Publicis Sapient

    Accessibility and layout-stability program

Customer-facing pages for a large audience, where accessibility gaps and layout shifts directly affect the user experience.

    Approach

    • WCAG compliance built into shared components and code reviews
    • CLS optimization and wider frontend performance improvements
    • A/B testing to validate UI changes with real traffic

    Outcome

A more accessible, more stable experience, with quality standards applied consistently across releases.

Migrating from MUI to an in-house design library

A major release for a US infrastructure client whose product depended on a third-party UI kit.

    Approach

    • Replaced MUI components with the internal design library
    • Worked with design in Figma to keep the UI consistent through the switch

    Outcome

Smaller bundle size, better performance, and stronger long-term UI consistency and maintainability.

Modular architecture for an engineering-tools application

A React and Next.js application that helps civil engineers select machinery, built for a major US infrastructure client.

    Approach

    • Led a team of three through frontend delivery
    • Redux state architecture and REST API integration
    • Supported the micro-frontend strategy to improve modularity

    Outcome

A more modular, maintainable codebase set up for long-term scalability.
